Take each of the aspects of SPICE: Spiritual, Physical, Intellectual, Communicative and Emotional.
How are you going to implement these aspects into your relationship this next year?
Need some inspiration?
· Pray a morning and evening prayer together
· Go outside and enjoy nature together
· Go for a walk together once a week
· Cook dinner together without kids once a month
· Choose a book to read together and setup times to discuss it.
· Setup monthly meetings to talk about progress in other yearly goals.
· Schedule a monthly date night
· Go on a getaway weekend this year
· Plan a game night once a month
· Send love notes to each other each week – either on paper or via text
These are just some ideas to get you started. Some of these suggestions may not work for you. Take some time today or this week to sit down and create your own goals for your marriage.
