Overcoming an Invisible Illness - Malori's Journey with Endometriosis: Part 2

Overcoming an Invisible Illness - Malori's Journey with Endometriosis: Part 2

My experience with laparoscopic surgery

Because of living in Germany, our NaPro journey has taken longer than it would have been otherwise.  My doctor is very aggressive when it comes to testing and likes to get everything done in one cycle if possible, and I like that approach.

Overcoming an Invisible Illness - Malori's Journey with Endometriosis: Part 1

“We found endometriosis and removed it all.”

This is one of the first things I remembered hearing after waking up from my exploratory surgery on March 1, 2019.  (Paraphrased, of course, as I was still groggy from the anesthesia.) I had gone into this with apprehension and nervousness, not about the procedure itself, but about the outcome.  My greatest fear was being told that nothing was wrong with me. So at that moment I heard my doctor speak to me, the tide turned for our infertility journey.

Overcoming Recurrent Pregnancy Loss with NaProTechnology

Overcoming Recurrent Pregnancy Loss with NaProTechnology

There are so many things to be grateful for this Thanksgiving.  I was reflecting on why I love being a FertilityCare Practitioner.

I am grateful for the gift of NaProTechnology.  NaProTechnology is not a miracle cure by any means, but it does offer women and couples a real option to help treat fertility health issues.  The goal of NaProTechnology is to restore reproductive health.  This makes NaProTechnology different than standard reproductive healthcare.

This week I am focusing on how NaProTechnology can help women and couples overcome recurrent pregnancy loss.

This is very personal to me.

Estrogen, Progesterone & Mucus, Oh, My! Shining Light on the Fertility Cycle

Estrogen, Progesterone & Mucus, Oh, My! Shining Light on the Fertility Cycle

Back to school happened in August here in Texas, but I know some of you are starting school this September.

Back to school usually means review of past information taught before diving into new information.

I thought this would be a good time to get back to basics with you regarding fertility health.

Many women tell me after attending an Introductory Session with the Creighton Model; where we review the science behind a woman’s fertility cycle and the role of fertility hormones; that they are shocked at how little they knew about their fertility cycle.

You want a better solution for your family planning needs.

You have made the decision to ditch the risk and use a more natural way to plan your family.

That is great!  But, you maybe thinking, “Where do I go from here?”

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! A Reflection

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! A Reflection

As we enter into the holiday season of Christmas, Chanuakah, and New Years, I am reflecting on the last year.  This last year has had many blessings and much heartache.

I have been blessed to expand my FertilityCare Services in the Dallas area by offering follow-ups at the office of Dr. Michael Jones, one of our local NaProTechnology doctors.  These follow-ups are covered by insurance and we have been able to help countless women with their fertility health.

Improving FertilityCare: An Update from the Annual AAFCP Conference

Improving FertilityCare: An Update from the Annual AAFCP Conference

Last week, during NFP Awareness Week, I had the pleasure of attending the American Academy of FertilityCare™ Professionals annual conference on the campus of Notre Dame.

This is an academic conference where Practitioners, doctors, and those wanting to promote the Creighton Model and NaProTechnology come together to learn about new advances and find encouragement.
